We believe every individual is worthy of a home space that makes them feel blessed to call their own, and this passion is the foundation of our business. Our primary objective to make interior design services more easily available to younger individuals and families, we have pioneered the concept of remote interior design and redefined the services of this industry. StyleMutt Home exists to serve others and has been trusted with over 150 homes in its first 6 years.
Our experienced SMH team has been assisting clients with a variety of design needs ranging from paint color selection and architectural details, to optimal layout, sourcing (or refinishing) furniture, and adding those special details that make a home so personal. Your home is the canvas for life to happen, so we use a variety of trusted resources (shops, materials, etc), that combine quality with affordability, so you can enjoy the beauty and messiness of the every day.

Chelsea Bieber, Lead Designer and Co-Founder
Hi there! My down to earth approach to design has attracted clients from all around the country, which is one of my favorite aspects of the job! I love getting a peek into how others live, from an intimate studio in Manhattan, to a sweeping craftsmen in Oregon, or the quaint A-frame nestled in the hills of Calabasas! My use of texture, balance of color, and natural materials have become the watermarks of my work, though each project maintains its own character . I quite enjoy the challenge of working with a variety of aesthetics and find great joy in showcasing my clients’ personalities and style into their home. While every project is as unique as each client, there is a common thread of coziness and comfort woven into every project I have the pleasure to design.
As a naturally laid back personality, I have long ditched the formal rules of design with a keen sense of maximizing the feel of any sized space. I am always eager to use creativity to think outside of the box, which has helped me establish my own presence in the field of Interior Design. Within a few short years of starting, my work had been featured in Small Space Makeovers, HGTV Magazine, The Every Girl, Glitter Guide, Apartment Therapy, and Design Sponge!
I currently live just outside of Washington, D.C. with my husband, Matt, our three kids, Colin, Shire (twins), and Mason (youngest by only 16 months), and our comedic golden retriever, Albus. Despite some growing pains in recent years, we are trusting God and staying put in our small “3-5 year house” that we moved into in 2010, so we can establish roots, love and serve our community.
